Job Description: MEP Head – Della Townships
Location: Mumbai
Working Days: 6 Days/Week
Position Summary
We are hiring an accomplished MEP Head with strong experience in design coordination, execution, and delivery of MEP systems for large-scale luxury township projects. The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure exceptional quality and performance. A critical aspect of this role is steering the township toward green-certified sustainability standards and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental rating systems applicable to large integrated developments.
Key Responsibilities
1. MEP Design Coordination & Leadership
* Lead the end-to-end coordination of MEP design with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and specialists.
* Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project planning and luxury township standards.
* Optimize MEP designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
2. Execution & On-Site Leadership
* Oversee MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and handover for residential, commercial and amenity zones within the township.
* Monitor construction quality, adherence to design documents, and alignment with project milestones.
*Experience of handling the Project from inception to handover
* Implement best practices for safety, quality assurance, and operational readiness.
3. Sustainability & Green Township Certification
* Collaborate with sustainability consultants to integrate eco-friendly features including energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, renewable energy integration, and resource-efficient infrastructure. 
* Track progress against sustainability benchmarks and ensure documentation for certification submission.

4. Project Planning & Control
* Develop and manage MEP execution schedules, resource planning, and delivery cadence.
* Implement and track KPIs for quality, schedule, budget, safety and sustainability metrics.
5. Contractor & Vendor Management
* Manage all MEP contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve performance targets.
* Review and approve technical submissions, contractor billings, change orders, and material submittals.
6. Cost Optimization & Value Engineering
* Drive strategies to optimize project costs through effective design choices and execution efficiencies.
* Support procurement of equipment and systems while ensuring sustainability and lifecycle performance.
7. Compliance & Quality Assurance
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety codes, and sustainability mandates.
* Establish robust quality control processes, audits, and testing regimes.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
* Minimum 12–18+ years’ experience in MEP design coordination and execution for large-scale projects.
* Proven expertise in luxury township, mixed-use developments or integrated communities.
Core Skills & Competencies
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, renewable energy systems.
* Experience driving sustainable design execution and working toward green building/township certifications.
* Ability to lead large teams and work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
