Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Interior Works Engineer/Manager to oversee the execution, coordination, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services. This role is strictly focused on interior fit-outs (high-end luxury villas, resort rooms, banquets, and commercial spaces) rather than base-build or heavy civil infrastructure.
Because Della Group is known for ultra-luxury designs, the ideal candidate must balance optimal technical performance with flawless interior aesthetics, ensuring MEP services are completely concealed and integrated seamlessly with high-end ceiling, wall, and flooring designs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core MEP Interior Coordination
• Manage day-to-day execution of all interior MEP services (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Low Voltage/Automation).
• Conduct strict cross-checking of MEP service drawings against interior architectural layout drawings (GFCs) to avoid design clashes.
• Coordinate with interior designers, carpenters, and false ceiling teams to ensure MEP routing does not alter planned ceiling heights or design aesthetics.
Detailed Breakdown: HVAC & Plumbing Focus
2. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) – Interior Focus
In luxury interior design, HVAC is about hidden comfort. The execution must ensure dead-silent operation and zero visible clutter.
• System Types: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of VRF/VRV systems, high-static ductable split units, and cassette ACs tailored for luxury interior spaces.
• Ducting & Insulation: Supervise duct fabrication, acoustic lining, and thermal insulation to prevent condensation dripping—which can ruin expensive gypsum ceilings, wall paint, and wooden paneling.
Job Expectations:
• Diffuser & Grille Integration: Coordinate the precise alignment of linear slot diffusers and return air grilles with the false ceiling layouts. Maintain strict checking of structural levels so the grilles look perfectly flush.
• Drainage Piping: Ensure correct sloping of AC condensate drain lines to prevent blockages, leakage, and subsequent water damage to high-end interior finishes.
3. Plumbing & Public Health Engineering (PHE) – Interior Focus
Luxury interiors feature premium sanitary ware, automation fixtures, and intricate tiling that require millimetre-level plumbing accuracy.
• Internal Piping: Oversee the routing of concealed hot and cold water pipelines (using CPVC, Composite, or PEX piping) inside luxury bathrooms and pantries.
• Pressure Testing: Ensure compulsory hydro-testing of all concealed water lines and drainage pipes before the walls are closed or waterproofing/tiling begins.
• Sanitary Fixures Alignment: Coordinate exact core-cutting and rough-in measurements for wall-hung water closets (WCs), concealed flush tanks, thermostatic diverters, body showers, and multi-jet systems.
• Acoustic & Aesthetic Drainage: Manage proper sloping for waste lines and the installation of acoustic (low-noise) drainage pipes to prevent flush sounds traveling into luxury bedrooms. Ensure linear floor drains are flush with expensive marble or tile flooring.
