Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and detail-oriented Head of Legal to lead our corporate legal function. In this role, you will serve as the primary legal advisor to the executive team, safeguarding the company’s interests across all real estate transactions, developments, and corporate operations.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in property law, a proven track record of structuring complex real estate deals, and a sharp eye for drafting foundational transaction documents, starting right from initial term sheets

Key Responsibilities
1. Deal Structuring & Transactional Drafting:
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes term sheets, Letters of Intent (LOIs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).
• Structure and finalize definitive agreements, including Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Concession Agreements, and Shareholder Agreements.
2. Due Diligence & Title Scrutiny:
• Oversee comprehensive legal due diligence and title search reports for land/property acquisition.
• Identify legal risks, encumbrances, or defects in titles and provide strategic mitigation strategies.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure all projects comply with local municipal laws, zoning regulations, environmental laws, and real estate regulatory authorities (e.g., RERA or regional equivalents).
• Manage corporate governance, secretarial compliances, and board-level legal matters.
4. Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
• Manage and mitigate consumer, civil, and labor disputes.
• Represent the company (or manage external counsel) in courts, tribunals, and arbitration proceedings.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Lead, mentor, and build an in-house team of legal professionals.
• Manage relationships and budgets with external law firms and consultants

Job Expectations:

Required Qualifications:
• LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• 10–15+ years of post-qualification experience in real estate/property law
• Proven experience handling large-scale, multi-state real estate projects
• Strong grasp of property laws, land acquisition, local municipal bylaws, and RERA/regional real estate acts.
• Exceptional capability in drafting precision-led term sheets and complex transactional frameworks.
• Prior experience with a reputed law firm, large real estate developer, or infrastructure company
