What D.A.T.A. does.
D.A.T.A. was established in 2017 as India's first counter-terrorism training academy for civilians, for individuals and corporates. In 2018 Della added a military-themed glamping resort with 5-star standard hospitality in the heart of the jungle.
The resort has 27 luxury glamping tents of 500 sq ft each, including a 1,400 sq ft Presidential Suite, overlooking Shirota Lake. Salaam Manekshaw, an 80-seat restaurant, pays tribute to Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, alongside the Gurkha Lounge and the 120-seat Maratha Banquet.
Two-day counter-terrorism and real-life survival programmes are led by a team under Lt. Gen. Raymond Noronha (Retd.), with veterans of the NSG, Army Special Forces and Marine Commandos. The academy also has a 22-obstacle military-style course for civilians.
