1. Who we are

This website, dellagroup.in, is operated by Della Group ("Della Group", "we", "us"), with its head office at Della Tower, Jam-e-Jamshed Road, Parsi Colony, Dadar (E), Mumbai 400014, Maharashtra, India. For personal data collected through this website, we act as the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Della Group is a group of businesses founded by Jimmy Mistry, including Della Townships India, Della Resorts, Della Adventure, D.A.T.A., Della Luxury Products, Della Leaders Club and the DLC Guide.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal data collected through dellagroup.in: the contact form, job applications, the media enquiry form, and cookies and similar technologies used on this site.

Each Della business operates its own website (for example dellatownships.com, dellaresorts.com or della.in), with its own privacy policy and terms. When you leave this site for a brand website, that website's policies apply.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: name, email address, mobile number, city and the type of enquiry.
• Job applications: name, email address, mobile number, current location, total experience, the role you apply for and, if you choose to attach it, your CV (PDF, DOC, DOCX or RTF, up to 2 MB) and whatever information it contains.
• Media enquiries: name, publication or media house, designation, email address, mobile number, city or country, the topic and your message.

Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry or application, such as financial account details, health information, government ID numbers or religious or caste details.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, recorded in standard server logs.
• Usage and interaction data: how you move through and interact with pages, collected through Microsoft Clarity (see Cookies).
• Security signals: Google reCAPTCHA evaluates interactions with our forms to tell people from automated programs.

We do not ask for, or store, passwords or payment card details on this website.

4. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and route it to the right Della business or team.
• To assess your job application, contact you about it and, if you are selected, carry out recruitment.
• To respond to journalists and media houses, and provide information, interviews or images.
• To keep our forms and website secure, prevent spam, fraud and misuse, and limit repeated submissions.
• To understand how the website is used and improve its content, design and performance.
• To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Consent and lawful use

When you submit a form, you consent to us processing the details you provide for the purpose of that form, as described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, but we may no longer be able to consider your application or respond to your enquiry.

We may also process personal data where the law permits it without consent, for example to comply with legal obligations or to prevent fraud.

6. Sharing

We share personal data only as needed for the purposes above:

• Within Della Group: with the Della business your enquiry or application relates to (for example, a job application for a role at Della Resorts is shared with its hiring team). With your consent, we may consider your CV for suitable roles in other Della businesses.
• Service providers who help us run this website and our communications, such as hosting, email delivery (Microsoft 365), security (Google reCAPTCHA) and analytics (Microsoft Clarity). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Authorities when required by law, court order or a lawful request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Della Group, our users or others.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them sparingly:

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some technologies, such as reCAPTCHA, may stop our forms from working.

8. How long we keep data

• Contact and media enquiries: for up to 3 years after our last communication, then deleted.
• Job applications and CVs: for up to 2 years from the date of application, so we can consider you for future roles, then deleted. If you are hired, your data becomes part of your employment records.
• Server and security logs: for up to 12 months.

We may keep data longer where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your rights).

9. Security

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), validation and filtering of everything submitted through our forms, checks that uploaded CVs are genuine documents of an allowed type, randomly named storage of CV files, access limited to staff who need it, and protection against automated abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data;
• ask us to erase personal data that is no longer needed, or withdraw your consent;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
• have your grievances addressed by us, and, if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days.

11. Children

This website is intended for adults. Our forms are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Processing outside India

Some of our service providers, such as Microsoft and Google, may process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards and transfer data only as permitted under Indian law.

13. Brand and third-party websites

This site links to Della brand websites, press articles, social media and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies when you visit them.

14. Grievance Officer

If you have a question or complaint about how your personal data is handled, please contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our website, our practices or the law. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. For significant changes, we will place a notice on this website.
